interia define as an OBJECT resistance to CHANGE in motion ,or change the position of objects where as momentum define as how much motion it has .

momentum is your FORCE or speed of momentum but inertia is what keeps you going.

due to inertia an object ACCELERATING and has no torque but in momentum of inertia it has torque .
