2X + 3y = 11......(1)

2x - 4y = 24........(2)

From equation 1ST and 2ND we get,

7y = -13

y = -13/7

put this in equation (1) we get,

2x + 3(-13/7) = 11

2x + (-26/7) = 11

2x = 11 + (26/7)

2x = (77+26)/7

2x = 103/7

x = 103/14

(-13/7) = p(103/14) + 3

(-13/7) - 3 = p(103/14)

(-13 - 21)/7 = p(103/14)

(-34/7) = p(103/14)

p = (-34/7)×(14/103)

p = (-34×2)/103
