1.

If 2 ampere and 3 ampere resistors are connected in series to a 12v source, what is the current through the circuit?

Answer»
R¹=2 ohm
R²= 3 ohm
As they are in series so,
Equivalent resistance = 2+3= 5 ohm
Then, by Ohm's Law,
      I=V/R
Current = 12/5 = 2.4 Ampere
