She sat calmly with Miss Sullivan, asAnne described to her all the sights and sounds of the journey. Miss Sullivan described to her the beautiful Tennessee river, the cotton fields, the African American people waving to the train, who also brought candyand popcorn balls to them etc. For Helen it was a memorable journey which she took with her doll Nancy and Miss Sullivan, and for her visiting Boston, was like a fairytale come true. |
