Commutative property says that-

(for addition)

a+b = b +a

For example:

lets take a as 1 and b as 2.

Therefore,

a+b = 1+2 = 3

b+a = 2+1 = 3

So, commutative property is applicable for addition.

(for multiplication)-

a × b = b × a

For example :

a = 2

b = 3

a×b = 2×3 = 6

b×a = 3×2 = 6

So, commutative property is applicable for multiplication as WELL.
