TO FIND:-

  • It is a Rational NUMBER or irrational Number.

HOW TO SOLVE?

  • First we will Simplify the sum which is in bracket.

  • After Simplifying bracket, we can simple Operations to get the value.

  • After that we will INSPECT whether it is rational or irrational.

Now,

\implies\rm{4\sqrt{3} + ( 4 + \sqrt{3})(4 - 2\sqrt{3}}

\implies\rm{ 4\sqrt{3} + (16 - 8\sqrt{3} + 4\sqrt{3} - 6)}

\implies\rm{ 4\sqrt{3} + 10 - 4\sqrt{3}}

\implies\rm{\cancel{4\sqrt{3}} + 10 -\cancel{4\sqrt{3}}}.

\implies\rm{ 10 }

Hence, The value is 10 and it is a Rational number.
