How to find class interval.please answer the question

First find the difference of the class marks. Then DIVIDE the differnce by 2. And then subtracted the ANSWER and ALSO ADD it. You will get class intervals.
For EXAMPLE:- Class marks are given as 4,8,12.
The difference is 4. Dividing it by 2. we will get 2.
Subtract and add 2 to the class marks.i.e 4-2 and 4+2. We get class intervals as 2-6. We can do this further by the same method.
