Answer» When a magnet is broken into 20 pieces, we will have 20 north POLES and 20 SOUTH poles. When a magnet is broken, each individual piece will behave like magnet and will have its north POLE and south pole. THEREFORE when we BREAK a magnet into 20 pieces, we will get 20 magnets each having its own north and south pole.
