to find the number of Isomers. we use formula
that is
=> 2 ⁿ - ⁴ + 1
here , n represent the number of is carbon atom present in it !!
for example ,
let's TAKE your question

so on putting the value of. carbon atom ( n ) in formula we get
2 ⁴ -⁴ + 1
=> 2 ^ 0 + 1
=> 2
hence , the number of. isomer possible is 2 .
but this formula used after 4 carbon atoms !!
