How is the energy derived from the food we eat stored in our body? |
|
Answer» Through the process of cellular respiration, the energy in food is converted into energy that can be used by the BODY's cells. During cellular respiration, glucose and OXYGEN are converted into carbon DIOXIDE and water, and the energy is transferred to ATP Glucose, found in the food animals eat, is broken down during the process of cellular respiration into an energy source called ATP. When excess ATP and glucose are present, the liver converts them into a MOLECULE called glycogen, which is stored for LATER use. hope this helps you Mark it as a brainlist answer follow me thxs... |
