Answer» The rain drops act like a prism because when the rays of sun falls on ? it distribut the light in seven different colours Actually raindrop itself has two media:1.water 2.air in dropHence when light enters raindrop,it faces refraction twice that leads to splitting of white light in spectrum. This spectrum can be observed as rainbow on large scale.Hence in this way raindrop works like a prism When the sunlight enters from the air to the water droplets it gets refracted internally which results in the spilting of the light into its seven colour components.
