Answer» Large cities develop due to urbanisation and abundant opportunities of employment, facilities related to education and healthcare and better modes of transport and communication are available. Better civil facilities and urban life attract people towards the cities. As a result, people migrate from rural regions towards urban regions. Large cities of the world attract people in large numbers every year.
