Answer» Solution :In case of gases coefficient of viscosity increases with increase in temperature. Reason: In gases viscosity is due to EXCHANGE of momentum between gas molecules in DIFFERENT LAYERS. As temperature increases velocity of gas molecules will increase. So exchange of momentum will increase. As a result coefficient of viscosity will increase.
