How does the cardiac muscles resemble both voluntary and involuntary muscles |
|
Answer» Cardiac muscle fibers look a LOT like both smooth and striated muscle fiber because it is uninucleated & has dark as well as light bands called as striations. Cardiac muscle is KEPT under involuntary control so it tends to contract rhythmically under autonomous NERVOUS control rather than conscious control. Hope it helps you! |
