How does solinoid behave like a magnet |
|
Answer» Solenoid is a coil having n number of turns . When current is passed through the solenoid a magnetic force will experience. This magnetic force is similar to that of bar magnet . When the north pole of the bar magnet is brought near too the negative terminal of the solenoid it will repel each other . This shows that solenoid will behave like a magnet. because it have rod fill with soft iron and cover with number of turn of copper wire through which current can flow....this shows it have magnetic field around it As on passing electric current it forms a electromagnet The magnetic field produced by it is similar to the magnetic field of a bar magnet. |
