How do we see rainbow Only after rainfall and why can not see every time

Answer» Rainbows are available due to the sun and raindrops it is the result of two refraction and one total internal reflection which takes place in the presence of both and if any one of those are not available the rainbow will not be formed.
Sunlight is refracted by the rain drops to split white light into 7 colours.
