1.

How do the increasing (i) wavelength and (ii) intensity of light affect the speed of light in glass?

Answer»

f light C is RELATED to frequency ν and wavelength λ that is GIVEN by, c = ν λ ..................(1) when we have light of given wavelength in air, its frequency is fixed as given by eqn.(1).When this light ENTERS glass, frquency will not change but its speed will decrease SINCE glass is optically denser medium compare to air.when speed of light decreases, correspondingly its wavelength decreases because frequency is constant.mark as brillienst answer
