Answer» While he was in the USA, the 14th amendment of the constitution of the USA gave freedom to the Black American. It drew his attention. The situation for the depressed classes in India had also faced the same problem. At that time Mahatma Phule worked for a classless society and Women’s upliftment. Ambedkar had influence from both the incidents. So he had decided to use his time and talent to improve the conditions of depressed classes.
