how did Christianity come to India during ancient period write in 40 words

Answer»

According to the faith of the Malayali Syrian Christians(so designated by the Indian government), who prefer to call themselves St Thomas Christians or Nasranis, St Thomas the Apostle came to India in 52AD and converted their forefathers. This is an article of faith and the community will never stop believing it. Infact the very existence of such an ancient community is often claimed as proof. The west disputes this claim because they want control over the church for political reasons. The Pope for example claims authority from the Apostle Peter, in whose name he claims to be the big boss of all christians. The Syrian Christians usually reply that St Thomas gave them authority to be their own boss and tell the Pope to mind his own business. This is a never ending struggle for dominance. Just like there is no solid scientific proof that St Thomas came to India, there is no proof that St Peter went to Rome either.
