How can you say that cubic metre is a derived unit? |

Answer» A derived unit is called so because it is the product of two more BASIC units. The basic unit of area is the cubic meter (m³) for volume. By derived unit, it REFERS to any given quantity which cannot be measured directly with any device. For eg., We can't measure density of a SUBSTANCE with a RULE, or scale, or bucket. |
