Hi friends wt is difference between SSRNA nd DSRNA |
|
Answer» ssRNA is SINGLE stranded RNA while dsRNA is double strndedExplanation:single stranded RNA has one strand with ribose sugar connected to Nitrogen base(ADENINE,GUANINE,THYMINE or URACIL) by a N-glycosidic linkage and the ribose sugar is also connected to phosphate group with an ester bond. While in dsRNA the basic structure is same but they have two strands connected by Hydrogen bonds(adenine to thymine[2 bonds] and guanine to uracil[3 bonds].dsRNA is hydrolyzed in living medium because of the presence of RNAse enzyme and that is why mRNA is single stranded. |
