Hey mates,Why is tungsten metal used in bulbs, but not in fused wires?

Answer»

tungsten metal has a very high melting point and for bulbs which constantly needs ENERGY to glow BECOME very hot so it NEED a high melting point element so that it doesnt melt .

but in fuse wires a low melting point wire is needed so that it can warm and BREAKS to save electronic appliances but tungsten has a high melting point so it is not used in fuse wiring

the working of fuse is to break the wire if it gets too much electric current then needed so that the appliances doesnt FUSES.
