(exterior angle of a triangle EQUALS to the sum of opposite interior ANGLES)

∠PSQ = ∠PRQ + ∠RPS — (iv)

(exterior angle of a triangle equals to the sum of opposite interior angles)

Adding (i) and (ii)

∠PQR + ∠QPS > ∠PRQ + ∠RPS

⇒ ∠PSR > ∠PSQ [from (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv)]
