a = bq + r

a = divident => 900

b = divisor => 300

q = QUOTIENT => ?

r = Remainder => ?


Now,

900 = 300 × 3 + 0

Here, r = 0

So, the divisor is the HCF


Therefore, 300 is the HCF of 900 & 300
