They prepared a stage at the meeting spot. Party banners and flags were hung at many places. The meetings were held in the support of the party candidates. Many speakers and the candidate made hot speeches. They put the manifesto before the public. They shouted many slogans. There were arrangements of the police to keep law and order. Some hawkers and vendors came there. They were selling groundnuts and ‘namkin’. After the meeting the leaders and the public went away. |
