Composed of Alluvial soil and a highly agriculturally productive area.Main crops grown here are mostly paddy and wheat.3. This plain is crossed with three major rivers - the Ganges, the Indus and the Brahmaputra.4. It\'s divided into four parts due to relief differences - Bhabar , Terai , Bhangar and Khadar.5. Due to favorable climatic conditions and other socio- economic factors , the Northern Plain is a very densely populated.
