He blew on these things, andthey turned into an egg. Mebege gave the egg to Dibobia, who lowered it into the sea.When enough time had passed, Mebege went down and put semen on the egg. The eggcracked open and three beings emerged—Zame ye Mebege, who was God; NyingwanMebege, the sister of God; and Nlona Mebege, the brother of God, who was evil. Mebegeand Dibobia withdrew to the heavens, leaving Zame in control of creation. Zame first createdtermites and worms. He used their droppings to build up the land, which formed in the sea.Finally, he created human beings.​
