(ii) The LCM of a and b is = 48

To find:

(i) Since the question is incomplete, I suppose we have to WIND the PRODUCT of the two numbers.

Solution:

We know that for any two numbers, X and y, the product of them is equal to the product of their HCF and LCM.

Here, HCF of a and b = 32 and,

LCM of a and b = 48.

So, a * b = HCF (of a and b) * LCM (of a and b)

⇒ ab = 32*48

⇒ ab = 1536

So, the product of the to numbers, ab equals  to 1536.
