When a solenoid is hold in the right hand and if the four fingers represent the direction of current flow, then the thumb represents the direction of the North pole. 2. The end of the solenoid through which current flows in the clock wise direction is the south pole and the end through which current flows in the anti clockwise direction is north pole. |
