Answer» We know that the side opposite to the largest angle is largest size in the triangle.. so, in ∆ADB , angle ADB =90 , means AB Is largest of all sides so, AB > BD also in ∆ADC , angle ADC =90 , means AC Is largest of all sides so, AC > CD now adding both we get AB+AC > BD+CD => AB + AC > BC.
