Features are :-

1) each city was divided into TWO parts
the citadel and the lower town. the important building like the great bath, the workshop, the assembly hall and the granary were located on the citadel. the lower town had the residential building where the people lived and worked.

2 the houses at street CORNER were ROUNDED to ALLOW the cart to pass easily

3 the harappa and the Mohenjodaro cities are linked by the river and hence the name of civilization is the Indus VALLEY civilization.

4 house drains emptied all waste water into the street drains.
