So the gender of the progeny or OFFSPRING depends upon the male GAMETE not on the female gamete. because if the male x gamete fertilizes with the OVUM then a girl child is born and if the fertilization is with y gamete the there is a boy child. so the gender depends upon whether the male gamete tranports x chromosome or y chromosome. |
