Find the volume of the right circular cone with(1) radius 6 cm, height 7 cm(ii) radius 3.5 cm, height 12 cm​

  • Radius of 1st CONE = 6CM
  • Height of 1st cone = 7cm

  • Radius of second cone = 3.5cm
  • Height of 2nd cone = 12cm

To FIND :-

Volume of 1st and 2nd cone.

Solution -

Volume of right circular cone = 1/3πr²h

Volume of 1st cone - 1/3πr²h

Where,

π = 22/7

r = Radius

h = height

Substituting the values -

volume of cone = 1/3πr²h

Volume of cone = 1/3 × 22/7 × 6 × 6 × 12

Volume of cone = 22 × 2 × 2

Volume of cone = 176cm³

Volume of 2nd cone = 1/3πr²h

volume of cone = 1/3 × 22/7 × 3.5 × 3.5 × 12

Volume of cone = 22 × 0.5 × 0.5 × 4

Volume of cone = 22cm³

\therefore The volume of 1st cone is 176cm³ And volume of 2nd cone is 22cm³
