Find the value of the polynomial 5x – 4x2 + 3 at x = 2 and x = –1

Answer»

wer :

POLYNOMIAL -> 5X - 4x² + 3

= 4x² - 5x + 3

When x=2,

Polynomial = 4(2)² - 5(2) + 3

= 4×4 - 10 + 3

= 19 - 10

= 9

When x = - 1,

Polynomial = 4(-1)² - 5(-1) + 3

= 4×1 + 5 + 3

= 12

Hope it helps
