Method L :

=> 5/14 & 9/14


Here denominators are equal!

So,

6/14 , 7/14 , 8/14 are the rational nos.



Method ll :
~~~~~~~~~

[ a+b/2 ]


=> 5/14+9/14 / 2

=> 5+9/14 / 2

=> 14/14 / 2

=> 14/14 × 1/2

=> 1/2 ..... etc...


Here, the ans are not same in both methods...

Bt, If u keep FINDING the rational nos. by using [ a+b/2] formula... U can get the METHOD I answer!
