if U want to find the area of triangle whose 3 vertices are given

u should use this formulae

1\2|x1(y2-y3)+X2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)|

here is one sum in which i think u can understand

(2,3),(-1,0),(2,-4)

here x1 is 2,x2 is -1 and x3 is 2

here y1 is 3,y2 is 0,y3 is -4

so by using this formula u can substitute these

1\2|2(0-(-4))+(-1)(-4-3)+2(3)|

1\2|2(4)+(-1)(-7)+2(3)|

1\2|8+7+6|

1\2|21|

21\2 square UNITS

| this sign is called modules

hope this sum helps u to understand math
