Find the diameter of a circle whose area is equal to the sum of areas of two circle of diameter 16 cm and 12 CM

Answer»

Hi MATE!!

LET the Radius of bigger circle be = R
,
Radius of another circle having diameter 16cm be = r1

And

Radius of another circle having diameter 12cm be = r2

According to the question.

π R² = π ( r1² + r2²)

R² = ( 8² + 6²)

R = √ ( 100)

R = 10cm

So, diameter = 2R = 200cm

Have a nice time
