Answer» I live in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. Here, the main sources of livelihood are step-farming, animal husbandry (goats, sheep, cows), beekeeping (apiculture), growing orchards for producing fruits, woollen carpets and shawl-making. Tourism is yet another major source of earning for the people, as they run small restaurants, tea-shops, eatery stalls, etc. for the tourists who flock here in almost all seasons. |
