Answer» The American War of Independence was the most influential event to have affected the world in the 18th Century. America was declared independent on July 4, 1776. While considering the form of American war of independence, it becomes clear that it was not a revolt against any feudal system, poverty or economic exploitation. Instead, it was a struggle for the natural right of man’s inherent freedom. The American people, taking England’s ruling policies to be an assault on their freedom, came together, revolted and got success. Economic and commercial reasons were also behind the declaration of independence. The trader class and the middle class also actively participated in this struggle. According to Carl. L. Baker, this revolution was a conflict between the economic interests of the colonies and Britain. |
