Answer» Definition Sprint planning is an event where the team handles the product backlog items, that they will work on through that sprint. The team chalks out their initial plan for completing those product backlog items. They establish sprint goals and, on that basis, they determine on which product backlog items they would work to complete their goals. Sprint Planning Audience Sprint planning involves the entire team. A product owner proposes the product backlog items and their priorities to MEET the sprint goals. The team determines how many items they would be able to complete and how they would deliver. The Scrum Master ensures that there is consensus on the sprint goal, and APPROPRIATE product backlog items are included in the sprint backlog. Sprint Planning venue Sprint planning is held in the team room so that it is easy to access all the information about your product backlog. If the team is distributed, sprint planning serves as a great opportunity to gather all distributed team members, so that the discussions would be more EFFECTIVE and strengthen connections among the team.
