Explain the reason behind the occurrence of phototropism in plants |

Answer» Phototropism is a growth RESPONSE to a light stimulus. Positive phototropism causes the stems of PLANTS to grow TOWARDS a light source causing the leaves of the plant to be pointing towards the lgth source. this allows the leaves to absorb more light which maximises photosyntesis.
