Explain the principle of developmental goals

Answer» Developmental goals\xa0are learning-oriented. They spell out the skills, knowledge and experiences the employee needs to either remain effective in his/her current job or support the employee\'s ability to take on new responsibilities and grow in his/her career.\xa0There are\xa03 types of goals: Outcome\xa0goals, process\xa0goals, and performance\xa0goals. Each of the\xa03 types\xa0differs based on how much control we have over it. We have the most control over process\xa0goals\xa0and the least control over outcome\xa0goals.\xa0The\xa0purpose of professional development\xa0is to improve knowledge and skills in order to facilitate individual, school-wide, and district-wide improvements for the\xa0purpose\xa0of increasing student achievement. Educators face continuously increasing requirements from federal and state mandates.
