Answer» MAX planck in 1900 PROPOSED the theory of radiant energy. Following are its assumption 1. Absorption nd emissions of radiant energy by object is dis continuous. 2. Energy is absorbed or emitted by an object in the form of DISCRETE bundles of energy. 3. Each packet of energy is called quanta. Qunta of light energy called PHOTON. 4. Energy of one quanta equal to E/ quanta= hv = hc/ lambda Where h is planck CONSTANT. V is frequency of radiation. C is speed of light. Lambda is wavelength of radiation I hope it helps you |
