Explain the nutrition in amoeba. |
| Answer» Amoeba has heterotrophic nutrition. Whenever a food particle comes close to the organism, amoeba extends it\'s pseudopodia which cover the food particle. The food particle is taken inside the body of amoeba and pseudopodia fuse with the body part, the food particle is converted into simpler substances and absorbed and utilized by it, the remaining waste substance is thrown out of its body.
