when pillen tube enter one of the synergids, the pollen tube release the two male gametes into the the cytoplasm of the synergids. one of the male gametes move so towards the egg and fuses with nucleus thus syngamy take place. this result in the FORMATION of DIPLOID cell, the zygote the other male gamete moves towards the polar nucei located in the Central cell and fuses with them to PRODUCE a triploid primary Endosperm nucleus . as this involve the FUSION of 3 haploid nuclei it termed as triple fusion since two TYPE of fusion. synfamy and triple fusion take place in an embryo sac the phenomenon is termed as double fertilisation
