Answer» ◆Nasal pore:the tip of nose has 2 small holes called nasal pore or nostrils. ◆Nasal chamber:The nostrils lead internally into nasal chamber. The hair inside nostrils clean the air and mucus which is presenr in nasal chamber trap the foreign particle and cool the air. ◆Pharynx:it receives both, the nasal cavity and oral cavity. It leads to esophagus and trachea. The opening of trachea is called glottis. ◆Larynx: It is a cartilaginous structure that produce sound and help in speaking. It is located at the upper of the trachea. ◆Primary bronchiole:When fibro electric wall supported by cartilagenous rings, and at its lower end the trachea ends by dividing into right and left bronchiole. ◆Secondary Bronchile: The right maim bronchus subdivides into 3 secondary bronchi which deliver O2 to the 3 lobes of right lungs. ◆Tertiary bronchiole: It is the further branching of secondary bronchiole. ◆Trachea:It is a tube like structure begin at larynx and continuing downwards to bifurcate into bronchi. It allows air to pass into lungs. It is lined by C shaped rings of cartilage. ◆Alveoli: They are the tiny air sacs, balloon like structures present in the lungs at end of bronchi. They are responsible for exchange of O2 and CO2. The respiratory system in human beings consists of the nose, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi and lungs. The human respiratory system begins from nose cavity called nostrils. There is a passage behind the nostrils called nasal passage. Nasal passage contain fine hair and mucus. When air passes through nasal passage, the dust particles present in air are trapped by nasal hair and mucus so that clear air enters into lungs. From nasal passage, air enters into pharynx and then into trachea or windpipe. Trachea doesn\'t collapse when there is no air because it contains soft bone called cartilages. The upper part of trachea has voice box called larynx. The trachea run downs the neck and divide into 2 tubes called bronchi. Each bronchi is connected to the lungs. In the lungs, each bronchi is divided into a large number of thin tubes called Bronchioles. The bronchioles have a tiny air sac at their end called alveoli where exchange of gases takes place. Respiratort tract is the path through which the air enters into the lungs..it is consist of several organs. Respiratory system consists of 2 components: respirstory tract and respirstory organs.
