Answer» Ex CuO+H2=Cu+H2O in this cuo in Lhs but in rhs cu so in this it reduces oxygen this process is called reduction and h2 in Lhs but in rhs is H2O so in this it gain oxygen this process is called oxidation . In this reaction both oxidation and reduction so we can say that it is redox reactions I hope you are understanding my answers In which reaction oxidation and reduction are both present these reactions are called oxidation reduction reactions or redox reactions Those reaction in which oxidation and reduction take place is called redox reaction.
