| Answer» Human Brain is protected by our skull or brain box known as ‘ cranium ’. It has three main parts.It includes Fore - Brain , Mid - Brain and Hind - Brain ................................... (a) Fore - Brain -> it is known as cerebrum. FUNCTIONS ->• it is the thinking part of brain.• it controls voluntary actions like writing , talking to a friend.• stores memory. (b)Mid - Brain -> it connects fore brain and hind brain.It lies in between of them ........... FUNCTIONS -> • it regulates temperature.• it is associated with hearing power, vision , sleep and wake alertness ............................... (c) Hind - Brain -> CEREBELLUM - It controls body movements.MEDULLA - It controls involuntary actions like blood pressure. PONS - it helps in regulation of respiration. | |
