Explain heating effect of current |
|
Answer» When an electric current is passed through a high resistance wire, like nichrome wire the wire became very hot and produce heat this is called heating effect of current When an electric current is set up in a conductor billions of electrons move negative terminal to postive terminal in accelerated motion. In such motion there is collison of free electrons with heavy ions, there kinetic is losed in the form of heat energy so a wire become hot called as heating effect of current . ????? |
