Answer» ement is absolutely correct!experiences aquired during lifetime cannot be incorporated into the genome. hence it cannot be passed on to the progeny via the gametes. for example almost all the human females get their ear LOBES pierced but a female born to such a mother will not have her ear pierced since birth. another example if you cut the tails of a few mice and then they are allowed to reproduce, the new born mice will not be TAIL less. this is BCOZ piercing of ear LOBE or cutting of tail does not AFFECT the genetic constitution of any organism and hence their progeny will not inherit the aquired characters.hope this helps you. |
